About This Game

A light-hearted tribute to classic side-scrolling shooters and delightfully cheesy 1980s sci-fi movies. You are an ace space pilot tasked with an impossible mission to save the galaxy. Have fun blowing stuff up!

Developer's Note

Project First Shot began as a personal learning and research project. I wanted to test available tools, see how much can AI help speed up the process, and, above all, prove to myself that I could take a game from an idea all the way to release. 

It could still use a lot more polishing and bug-fixing, but I have proven the main points already and got confidence with the tooling. I don't currently plan to develop Project First Shot any further, as my focus has already shifted to my first full-scale (potentially commercial) project. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
